W.I.L. (Worship Is Life), is an experienced and passionate voice within the gospel music industry. Capitalizing on his gospel musical foundation, W.I.L. has been directly involved in gospel music since 1997 as a producer and accomplished recording artist/songwriter.
W.I.L. currently serves as Worship Pastor for New Jerusalem Cathedral Churches of Sound Doctrine under the leadership of Dr. Kevin Williams.
W.I.L. has been afforded the opportunity to produce many gospel projects-including his first solo project, “All About Him.” Some of his other musical productions include, his first live recording “The Necessity Project: A Night of Worship & Giving” which raised proceeds to help a local underprivileged school.
His talent as a writer reached national acclaim as the recipient of the award for “Best Original Composition” from the Black Music Caucus of NY and “Best New Artist Award from WALJO People’s Choice Awards.”
W.I.L. has overcome many obstacles including brain cancer that resulted in temporary paralysis. He attributes any success as a picture of God’s grace.
W.I.L. has returned to the studio-all the more committed to writing and producing. Some of his latest music includes the singles, “I Still Believe”, “God Smiles”, “Til the Ark Returns”, “Resurrection”, “Aprons,” and “Reconciled.”
W.I.L.’s success and experience extends beyond music and the church. W.I.L. is married to his lovely wife Wendy and they live in Greensboro, NC. He also is an emerging and accomplished author, podcast host, and vocal coach. He also proudly serves as a philanthropist, mentor, Praise and Worship Clinician/Facilitator, and is the Co-Owner of Father Son Productions.
W.I.L. keeps his passion for music, life, and his relationship with God, at the center according to Romans 12:1-
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your true and proper worship.”
Whenever he has the opportunity, W.I.L. uses his distinct voice and delivery admonishing others to a lifestyle of worship that is pleasing to God.
